Description

The primary mission of the Biostatistics & Bioinformatics Shared Resource (BBSR) is to collaborate with Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center investigators in the conduct of high quality, innovative cancer research. BBSR provides biostatistical and bioinformatics collaboration and consultation on the design, conduct, analysis and interpretation of basic science, clinical, and cancer prevention and control research projects. An area of special interest is translational research, including evaluation of biomarkers and surrogate endpoints. Methodological research on the biostatistical and bioinformatics aspects of cancer research projects is strongly encouraged.
BBSR also provides expertise in bioinformatics for the collection and analysis of sequence, microarray, and proteomic data.
